When the blade has been equipped with the AccuGrade elevation sensors, care must be taken when you are moving the circle and/or the blade to the maximum positions (left or right).Damage may occur to the sensors and/or the coiled cable harnesses that are associated with the sensors when the blade and/or the circle are moved to the maximum position (left or right).
Before You Start
Before you start to use the system, refer to the following list of tasks:
Make sure that the hydraulic valves are calibrated. This is done when the system is installed or serviced.
Make sure that the cross slope sensors are calibrated. Calibration of the sensors is performed when the system is installed, anytime a sensor has been replaced or periodically by the operator when system performance changes. Calibration compensates for changes to the machine such as blade wear, tire changes, cutting edge changes, and so forth.
Make sure that you perform the Linked Elevation Adjustment if you are using dual electric masts in the Linked Elevation Mode.Power Up
Toggle the "Power/Setup" Switch (7) on the Display to the "ON" position.The following sequence occurs:
The Display checks that all the system components are present and are responding correctly. If the Display finds a problem, the LCD screen indicates where the problem is.
The LED grade indicators on the Display light up. This shows that the LED grade indicators are functioning.
When the AccuGrade - Grade Control System software is loaded, and the system checks are finished, the software version appears on the LCD.
