1. Lift the hoods and fasten them in position with the hood locks. Disconnect wiring connector (1) from unit injector hydraulic control valve (2). 2. Remove four bolts (3) and remove unit injector hydraulic control valve (2). Upon installation, tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 50 5 N m (37 4 lb ft). 3. Remove four O-ring seals (5) from the two housings.4. Remove four O-ring seals (4) from the bottom side of the unit injector hydraulic control valve. Check all O-ring seals for wear or damage and replace with new parts if necessary . For installation of the unit injector hydraulic control valve, reverse the removal procedure.
