The dipstick for the swing drive oil is on the swing drive at the rear base of the boom.

Remove the dipstick.

Note: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "General Hazard Information" for information that pertains to Containing Fluid Spillage.
Maintain the oil level between the tip of the dipstick and the FULL line on the dipstick. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities" when you select an oil. If the oil level is above the FULL line, remove oil from the system until the correct level is reached. If there is no oil on the dipstick, add oil to the system until the correct level is reached.Note: Failure to operate the swing drive with the correct amount of oil can result in damage or failure of the swing drive.
Insert the dipstick.
