Remove the ripper shank. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Ripper Shank - Remove and Install".

Lower ripper carriage (1) onto suitable cribbing (2) .

Attach Tooling (A) to the ROPS. Attach a suitable lifting device onto tilt cylinders (3). Attach Tooling (B) onto Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device in order to support tilt cylinders (3) .

Attach a suitable lifting device onto ripper carriage (1). The weight of ripper carriage (1) is approximately 2495 kg (5500 lb). Apply slight lifting tension in order to support ripper carriage (1). Remove pin assemblies (4) on each side. Retract tilt cylinders (3). Position tilt cylinders (3) out of the way. Disconnect hose assemblies (5). Remove pin assemblies (6). Remove ripper carriage (1) from the machine.Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable lifting device onto ripper carriage (1). The weight of ripper carriage (1) is approximately 2495 kg (5500 lb). Position ripper carriage (1) onto the machine. Install pin assemblies (6). Connect hose assemblies (5). Extend tilt cylinders (3). Position tilt cylinders (3). Install pin assemblies (4) on each side.

Remove Tooling (A) and Tooling (B). Remove the suitable lifting device from tilt cylinders (3) .

Raise ripper carriage (1) and remove suitable cribbing (2) .End By: Install the ripper shank. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Ripper Shank - Remove and Install".
