Follow the installation procedure given below when assembling each tube assembly:
Position and orient the new tube assemblies on hydraulic tank group. Refer to Illustration 1 or 2.
Install four bottom bolts to a minimal torque. Ensure that the slots are able to rotate and reduce stress on the tube by not completely tightening the bolts.
Inspect position of top flange. If there is a gap of greater than 6.35 mm (0.25 inch), use a 383-1184 Adapter as a shim and longer 161-7632 Self-Locking Bolt.
Install four top bolts to a minimal torque. Ensure that the slots are able to rotate and reduce stress on the tube by not completely tightening the bolts.
Tighten eight bolts to standard torque.
