(4) Torque for plug ... 65 6 N m (48 4 lb ft) (5) All of the surface areas must be clean and dry. Clean the surfaces with solvent. Apply lubricant to the carrier on the surface that comes into contact with the washer. Finger tighten the screws to the thrust washer. Torque the four screws in a cross-tightening sequence.

View A-A (6) Lubricate the contacting surfaces of the seal. Use the lubricant to be used in the power train. (7) Rubber torics, and all contacting surfaces must be clean and dry prior to assembly. Smear a thin film of oil onto the contacting surfaces of the metal seals just before installation. Lubricate all other seals on assembly. The seal rings must be assembled square with the bore. The O-ring seal must not be twisted. (8) Final torque for 16 bolts 900 100 N m (660 75 lb ft).For the procedure to install the wheel bearings, refer to the Disassembly and Assembly manual for the machine that is being serviced.
