Caterpillar is aware of this problem, and is recommending the following interim corrective action.In the event of poor implement and/or steering performance, ensure the charge relief pressure is within the specifications. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, UENR0057 and Disassembly and Assembly, UENR0058 for S/N:PBA1-UP and ; S/N:PER1-UP. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, KENR8558 and Disassembly and Assembly, KENR8559 for S/N:LJR1-UP, ; S/N:GHS1-UP, and ; S/N:MLW1-UPIf the pressure does not adjust, replace the 293-5440 Charge Pump with the same part.
