July 11, 1992 U-97 A-71 SAFETY THE WHEEL RIM NUTS NEED TO BE TIGHTENED ON CERTAIN IT18 AND IT28 TOOLCARRIERS; AND ON CERTAIN 926 AND 916 LOADERS 4202 PI1202 This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI1202" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI1202" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
Problem
The wheel rim mounting nuts need to be tightened to a torque of 475 +/- 50 N.m (350 +/- 37 lb ft) on certain IT18 and IT28 Toolcarriers; and on certain 926 and 916 Loaders.
