Loosen clamp assembly (7) .
Disconnect soot sensor (4) and temperature sensor (6) .
Loosen clamp assembly (1) and slide the clamp assembly away from diesel oxidation catalyst (3) .
Attach a suitable lifting device to diesel oxidation catalyst (3). Disconnect clamp assembly (2) and remove diesel oxidation catalyst (3). The weight of diesel oxidation catalyst (3) is approximately 21 kg (46 lb).
Discard clamp assembly (1) .Installation Procedure
Install diesel oxidation catalyst (3) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (A) to temperature sensor (6) and soot sensors (4). Tighten temperature sensor (6) and soot sensors (4) to a torque of 45 5 N m (33 4 lb ft).

Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of clamp assembly (2) to Dimension (X). Dimension (X) is 25 mm (1.0 inch) above the trunnion. Tighten clamp assembly (2) to a torque of 15 3 N m (133 27 lb in).
Install new clamp assembly (1). Tighten clamp assembly (1) to a torque of 40 5 N m (30 4 lb ft). Do not use power tools in order to tighten clamp assembly (1) .
