The 189-5599 Engine To Engine Wiring Harness Assembly (30 ft) and the 198-9159 Engine To Engine Wiring Harness Assembly (15 ft) for the OEM wiring harness has been made incorrectly by the supplier. The primary throttle, secondary throttle, synchronization input 1, and synchronization input 2 wires are not installed in the correct pin location in the 12-pin connector. The throttle synchronization will not work correctly unless the engine to engine harness is changed.Solution:
Use multimeter to check the wiring connections on the engine to engine wiring harness assembly. The table identifies the circuits to check. If the connection in the harness that is being tested does not match the table, change the pins to match the table below.
