(A) 22 mm (0.86 inch) (1) Jam nut
Loosen jam nut (1) with a 2 5/8 inch wrench in the counter-clockwise direction.

Loosen the adjustment bolt (2) in the counter-clockwise direction.
Remove the fan drive belt.
Install a new fan drive belt.
Turn the adjustment bolt in the clockwise direction until the belt is tensioned properly. Use Tooling (A) in order to check the belt tension. Refer to Table 2 for the belt specifications.
