Circuit Breaker Reset - Push the button in to reset the circuit breakers. If working properly, the button will stay depressed. If the button does not stay in, or comes out shortly after being reset, have appropriate electrical circuit checked.There are circuit breakers located on the same panels as the fuses.

Inspect/Replace
Inspect the front and rear windshield wiper blades. Replace if they are worn or damaged, or if streaking occurs.Fill Washer Bottle
When operating in freezing temperatures, use Caterpillar nonfreezing window washer solvent or equivalent. System damage can result from freezing.
Open the access cover located behind the operator compartment on the machine. The windshield washer fluid bottle is located inside the compartment. The bottle can be filled through the filler opening.Bucket Cutting Edges
Replace if Damaged
Personal injury or death can result from the bucket falling.Block the bucket before changing cutting edge.
Change the edge if damaged or worn excessively. 1. Raise the bucket and place blocking under it.2. Lower the bucket to the blocking.Do not block the bucket any higher than necessary to remove cutting edge or end bits.3. Remove the bolts and remove cutting edge and end bits.4. Clean the contact surfaces.5. Use the opposite side of the cutting edge if it is not worn.6. Install a new section if both edges are worn.7. Install the bolts and tighten to the specified torque. See Torques for Ground Engaging Tool Bolts chart.8. Raise the bucket and remove the blocks.9. Lower the bucket to the ground.10. After a few hours of operation, check the bolts for proper torque.Bucket Tips
Replace if Damaged
Personal injury or death can result from the bucket falling.Block the bucket before changing bucket tips.
1. Drive the pin out of the tip from the retainer side of tip. Remove the tip and the retainer.2. Clean the adapter, pin and retainer. Install retainer in the groove.3. Install a new tip over the retainer in either the runner or the digger position.4. Drive the pin through the retainer, adapter, and tip from the side opposite of the retainer.Bucket Wear Plates

Replace the wear plates before any damage to the bucket bottom occurs. 1. Raise and block the bucket.2. Loosen bolts (1) and remove wear plates (2).3. Install new wear plates. Tighten the bolts to the specified torque. See Torques for Ground Engaging Tool Bolts chart.Filter Inspection
