DRIVE GP-FINAL 3367884 - Caterpillar

The following procedure is for the following machines.
CB-214C (S/N: 9XK1-UP)
CB-214D (S/N: 1TZ1-1121)
CB-224C (S/N: 3AL1-UP)
CB-224D (S/N: 8RZ1-2065)
CB-225D (S/N: 9FZ1-468)The following parts are needed for this procedure for the machines above.

Disconnect the battery and remove the battery.
Release the bracket that contains the relay.
Disconnect the existing relay and remove the existing relay.

(3) 70 mm (2.8 inch) (4) 25 mm (1 inch) (5) 65 mm (2.6 inch)
Drill two 7 mm (0.28 inch) holes in the bracket.
Cut the two wires just before the terminals.

Crimp two 8T-8729 Connector Pins on the wires and then install the wires into 3E-3364 Receptacle As .Note: Install 202-BK into location 2 and 308-YL into location 1 on the receptacle.
Connect the new harness on the receptacle and then connect to the diode.
Install the new relay on the support and then install the relay onto the machine.
Connect the relay to the two harness wires.

Install the battery and connect the battery terminals.The following procedure is for the following machines.
CB-334D (S/N: DCZ1-UP; 3JZ1-UP; 4CZ1-UP)
CB-335D (S/N: BBW1-UP; 5PZ1-UP)The following parts are needed for this procedure for the machines above.

Disconnect the terminals on the battery.
Drill one 7 mm (0.28 inch) hole 66 mm (2.6 inch) from the edge of the bracket.
Cut the two wires of the existing harness just before the terminals.

Crimp two 8T-8729 Connector Pins on the wires and then install the wires into 3E-3364 Receptacle As .Note: Install 200-BK into location 2 and 308-YL into location 1 on the receptacle.

Install the new relay (6) and install the new diode (7) onto the support.
Connect the relay onto the new harness with the following wires.

Connect the battery terminals.
