2. Remove four bolts (2) holding deflector housing (1) to the frame. Remove the housing. 3. Loosen screw (4), and remove the control cable from under the clamp. Remove two nuts (5) that hold the thermostat to the frame. Lift the thermostat and probe (3) up, and place it to one side. 4. Remove four bolts (7) that hold fan (6) to the frame.5. Put identification marks on the wires going to the fan assembly for correct installation. Disconnect the wires. Remove the rear fan assembly. 6. Remove four bolts (8) that hold the front fan assembly to the frame. Remove connector (9) from the holder, and disconnect it. Pull the cable back through hole (10) in the frame. 7. Disconnect through wires (12) going to the front fan assembly. Remove front fan assembly (11).Install Air Conditioner And Heating Fans
1. Install front fan assembly (2) in the air conditioner and heater unit, and install the four bolts that hold it in place.2. Connect through wire (3) going to the fan assembly. Install cable (1) through the hole in the unit. 3. Connect connector (4), and install it into bracket (5). 4. Install rear fan assembly (6), and install the four bolts that hold it in place. Connect the through wires going to the fan assembly. 5. Fasten thermostat (9) with the two nuts to the unit. Install cable control (7) under clamp (8), and adjust the cable for full travel of the thermostat. Tighten the clamp.6. Insert the thermostat probe into the air conditioner evaporator. 7. Install deflector housing (10) and the four bolts that hold it to the frame.8. Install the passenger cushion and the two bolts that hold it.Disassemble Air Conditioner And Heating Fans
START BY:a. remove air conditioner and heating fans 1. Remove two screws (1) that hold the resistor to the outer fan bracket. Remove the resistor.2. Remove three nuts (2) that hold the fan motor and bracket to fan housing (3). Remove the motor and fan from the housing. 3. Loosen the setscrew that holds fan (5) to the motor shaft. Remove the fan and plate (4). 4. Remove two nuts (7) that hold inside bracket (6) to the motor housing. Remove the bracket. Remove the two washers and gasket behind the bracket.Assemble Air Conditioner And Heating Fans
1. Install gasket (1) and two washers (2) on the motor. 2. Install inside bracket (3) on the motor. 3. Put plate (4) on the inside bracket. Install fan (5) on the motor shaft, and tighten the setscrew. 4. Place outer bracket (6) on the motor and inner bracket. 5. Fasten the two brackets to fan housing (7) with the three bolts.
