Inspect the date code on all Reman 0R1623 air compressors in dealer parts stock for a date code of: 1G3109H, 1G0709H, 1F2609H, 1F1509H, 1F0409H, or 1F0509H. Refer to Image1 for date code location.
- If the date code on the air compressor matches one of the date codes listed, tighten the oil fittings (A) to a torque of 15.8 Nm (140 lb-in) and the jam nuts (B) to a torque of 18 Nm (160 lb-in). Refer to Image2. Package the compressor in the original packaging, mark the package to indicate the compressor has been inspected according to this service letter program PS5#### / REBE5543, and return the compressor to dealer parts stock.
- If the date code on the compressor is not one of the date codes listed, no rework is required. Package the compressor in the original packaging, mark the package to indicate the compressor has been inspected according to this service letter program PS5#### / REBE5543, and return the compressor to dealer parts stock.

If a customer complains of an oil leak on a recently installed 0R1623 air compressor, inspect the compressor for a date code of: 1G3109H, 1G0709H, 1F2609H, 1F1509H, 1F0409H, or 1F0509H. Refer to Image1 for date code location.
