Features And Benefits
This short block uses the 10R0650 piston pack with the 177-7498 aluminum piston. This short block is not recommended for the repair of engines using 172-3238 piston and rod group at this time.
Reman short blocks expand the repair options available. When used with other Remanufactured products and reusable components from the core engine, short blocks help reduce turnaround time. Cat Reman short blocks are fully assembled with the block group, piston and connecting rod groups and crankshaft assembly.
Core Acceptance
All engines returned as cores must meet the core acceptance guidelines as identified in the "Core Acceptance Criteria", SELD0026. Block group 129-1164 is an acceptable core

Also refer to other CMIS 2 inquiry applications such as Customer Profiles, Inspection Reason Codes, Inspection Line Inquiry, Add Charge Information, Entitlement Activity, Entitlement Inquiry, CCR Inquiry, CCR Entry, Shipment Processing; Process Packaging Grief; and Reporting to properly manage core returns and monitor inspection performance. This information will be available to all dealers worldwide after your CMIS 2 conversion date.
