6V-3160 Double Acting Cylinder     1    Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all harness assemblies, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.Note: If the machine is equipped with a bulldozer blade remove the bulldozer blade.

Install Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto the bulldozer lift cylinder.

Remove the bolt and pin (1) .
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the opposite side of the machine.

Remove guard (2) .

Remove cover (3) and sheet assembly (4) .

Remove guard (5). Disconnect hose assembly (6) .

Retract lift cylinder (7) .
Release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydrualic System Pressure - Release".
Reinstall pin (1). Attach a suitable lifting device to pin (1) .
Repeat Steps 7 and 9 for the opposite side of the machine.
Install Tooling (B) in order to support the front of C-frame (8) during the removal of C-frame (8) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (9) .
Repeat Step 12 for the opposite side of the machine.
Remove C-frame (8) from the machine. The weight of C-frame (8) is approximately 998 kg (2200 lb).

Use Tooling (C) in order to remove bearing (10) .
