Use Tooling (A) to install all of camshaft bearings (1) except for the front bearing. Locate oil hole (2) in each bearing so that oil hole (2) is located at the top of the bore. Locate joint (3) in the proper position.
Use Tooling (A) to install the front camshaft bearing. Align oil hole (2) in the front camshaft bearing with the oil hole in the cylinder block. Locate joint (3) in the front camshaft bearing in the proper position (facing the cylinder block). Refer to Specifications, "Cylinder Block" for more information. End By:
