This diagnostic code is recorded when the VIMS electronic control module reads the voltage of the green payload lamp circuit (wire 636-GN(Green)) and the voltage is above normal. System Response:The green payload lamps are ON CONTINUOUSLY as a result of this condition.Test Step 1. CHECK THE LAMP CIRCUIT.
Turn the key start switch and the disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Disconnect the machine harness from the VIMS electronic control module.
While you observe the green payload lamps, turn the disconnect switch and the key start switch to the ON position.Expected Result:The green payload lamps turns ON.Results:
OK - The green payload lamps turn ON. The harness circuit (wire 636-GN(Green)) is shorted to the +battery.Repair: Repair the machine harness or replace the machine harness.STOP
NOT OK - The green payload lamps are OFF. The VIMS electronic control module has failed.Repair: Replace the VIMS electronic control module. Refer to the Testing and Adjusting section in this manual.STOP
