This group spaces the oil cooler 90mm from the radiator and spaces the air to air aftercooler 50mm from the oil cooler. These spaces provide the ability to clean between the cores. This group provides hinged clean-out doors at the bottom of the radiator. These doors cover the space between the radiator and the oil cooler. These doors must be in the closed and secured (latched) position when the machine is in operation to prevent possible overheating.Core Cleaning Procedure
Front view of spacer group1. Loosen the wingnuts (1) on the top hinges access door and swing the door open as far as possible.
Right side view of spacer group.2. Pull the spring clips (2) on the bottom hinged door and swing the door down as far as possible.3. Use compressed air to blow the debris in the cores towards the space between the cores. The debris will fall out through the bottom hinged door opening.4. After the cores are cleaned, swing the top hinged door to the closed position and tighten the wingnuts (1) to secure the door.5. Swing the bottom hinged door to the closed position until the spring clips (2) engage and secure the door in the closed position.
