30. Carefully remove cylinder assembly (50) from the main housing.31. Remove two stoppers (51), two springs and two rings from the main housing. 32. Disassemble cylinder assembly (50) as follows: a. Mark all components of the cylinder assembly so they can be reinstalled in their original locations.b. Remove plate (53) and nine piston assemblies (52), as a unit, from cylinder (57). Separate the piston assemblies from the plate.c. Remove bushing (54), shims (55) and spring (56) from the cylinder. 33. Remove two pistons (58) and two rods (59) from the main housing.34. Remove swash plate (60) from the main housing. The following steps are for the assembly of the travel motor.35. Make sure all parts of the travel motor are thoroughly clean and free of dirt and debris prior to assembly.36. Check the condition of all O-ring seals and rings used in the travel motor. If any of the seals or rings are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. 37. Install swash plate (60) and three O-ring seals (61) in the main housing. 38. Temporarily install cradle plate (36) on the main housing in its original position. Use two 16 mm bolts to hold the cradle plate in position. 39. Using Tool (A), rotate the main housing 90 degrees so the swash plate and cradle plate are facing down.40. Install two rods (59) and two pistons (58) in the main housing.41. Install the two rings, two springs (62) and two stoppers (51).42. Use a suitable size C-clamp to hold the rods and swash plate in position in the main housing as shown. 43. Assemble cylinder assembly (50) as follows: a. Install spring (56), shims (55) and bushing (54) in cylinder (57) as shown.b. Install nine piston assemblies (52) in their original locations in plate (53).c. Install the piston assemblies in their original bores in cylinder (57). Move plate (53) from side to side to make sure none of the components in the cylinder assembly bind.44. Turn cylinder assembly (50) on its side as shown. Do not let the components in the cylinder assembly come apart. Install shaft (38) in cylinder assembly (50) as shown. 45. Using Tool (A), rotate the main housing to the position shown. The C-clamp previously installed will hold the swash plate in position.46. Install shaft (38) and cylinder assembly (50), as a unit, in the main housing from the bottom; then rotate the main housing in a horizontal position as shown. 47. Heat bearing (37) to a maximum temperature of 135°C (275°F). Install the bearing on shaft (38).48. When bearing (37) becomes cool, use a soft faced hammer and tap the shaft assembly into the counterbore of cradle plate (36) until it seats.49. Remove the C-clamp. 50. Using Tool (A), rotate the travel motor 90 degrees as shown.
