Attach a suitable lifting device to cylinder assembly (2). The weight of cylinder assembly (2) is approximately 248 kg (546 lb) for the S320B. The weight of the cylinder assembly is approximately 427 kg (942 lb) and 817 kg (1800 lb) for the S340B. Note: Ensure that the shear jaw is in the fully closed position.

Remove bolts (3). Remove cover (4) .

Reposition pin assembly (5). Attach a suitable lifting device to pin assembly (5) in order to remove the pin assembly. The weight of pin assembly (5) is approximately 13 kg (30 lb) for the S320B. The approximate weight of the pin on the S325B is 19 kg (42 lb). The approximate weight for the S340B is 32 kg (70 lb).
Use the host machine's hydraulic system in order to fully retract the cylinder. Release the pressure of the hydraulic system in accordance with the host machine's Operation and Maintenance Manual.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to shear jaw (6) in order to support the shear jaw. The weight of shear jaw (6) is approximately 242 kg (534 lb) for the S320B and S325B. The approximate weight for the S340B is 680 kg (1500 lb).

Remove bolts (8). Remove nut (7). Remove shims (9) (not shown). Repeat for opposite side.

Reposition pin assembly (10). Attach a suitable lifting device to pin assembly (10) in order to remove the pin assembly. The weight of pin assembly (10) is approximately 43 kg (95 lb) on the S320B. The approximate weight on the S325B is 59 kg (130 lb). The approximate weight of the S340B is 113 kg (250 lb). Remove shear jaw (6) .

Reposition bushing (12). Attach a suitable lifting device to bushing (12) in order to remove the bushing. The weight of bushing (12) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb).

Remove pins (13). Repeat Steps 10 through 12 for the remaining side.
