2. Attach a hoist to the vibration damper and pulley. Remove six bolts (1) that hold vibration damper and pulley to the crankshaft.3. Remove vibration damper (2) and the pulley. The weight is 25 kg (55 lb.). 4. Remove vibration damper (2) from pulley (3).
Dash marks (4) on the front of the damper assembly must be in alignment with each other. If dash marks (4) are not in alignment, make a replacement with a new damper assembly.
Install Vibration Damper And Pulley
1. Put vibration damper (1) in position on pulley (2). 2. Attach a hoist to the vibration damper and pulley. Use a 5/8"-18 × 6" (152 mm) long guide bolt (3), and put the vibration damper and pulley in position on the crankshaft. 3. Put clean engine oil on the threads of the bolts, and install six bolts (4) that hold the vibration damper and pulley to the crankshaft.4. Install the fan belts. See Install Fan Drive.
