Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
Position hub assembly (6) and install idler axle (7).
Install hub assembly (5).
Install washer (4) and install new locknut (3). Tighten locknut (3) to a torque of 400 50 N m (295 37 lb ft).

Install dust cap (2).
Use Tooling (A) in order to install retaining ring (1). End By:
Install the front idler wheels. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Idler Wheel - Remove and Install".
