Release the hydraulic system pressure.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

Remove bolts (1) and plate assembly (2).

Disconnect hose assemblies (5) and harness assemblies (3) from pilot valve (4).
Remove pressure switches (6). Note: Mark the location of fittings (7) for installation purposes. The lower of the two fittings (7) has a filter.
Remove two fittings (7).

Reposition floor mat (11) from the travel pedals.
Remove covers (9).
Remove bolts (10) and lever assemblies (8).

Remove bolts (20) and pilot valve (4). Installation Procedure
Install pilot valve (4) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten bolts (12) to a torque of 24 3 N m (212 27 lb in).
Tighten bolts (10) to a torque of 33 3 N m (24 2 lb ft).
Tighten fittings (7) to a torque of 24 3 N m (212 27 lb in).
Tighten pressure switches (6) to a torque of 23 2 N m (204 18 lb in).
Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of bolts (1).
