Rotate the bucket to the TILT BACK position. Raise the lift arms until the bucket starts to rotate to dump. Measure the angle of the bottom of the bucket with a magnetic protractor. The angle of the bucket should be 55.0 2.0° from the horizontal, when the bucket begins to dump.
If the angle is not within the specification, loosen the jam nut (2) and loosen the rod (3) into the rod end or out of the rod end (1). Turning the rod (3) into the rod end (1) will decrease the bucket angle. Turning the rod (3) out of the rod end (1) will increase the bucket angle. For each full revolution of the rod, the angle of the bucket will change 4°. Repeat step 1, and check the bucket angle relative to the horizon.
Tighten the jam nut (2) to a torque of 20.0 5.0 N m (15.00 4.00 lb ft).
Place the loader bucket flat on the ground.
Loosen the screws (7). Position the wheel on the switch (6) on the ramp of the guide (5) at a point so that the switch will barely contact the ramp. Lightly tighten the screws (7) .
When you are in the cab, use the joystick for the loader in order to lower the bracket assembly. Lower the bracket assembly until the actuation of the return-to-dig switch returns the bucket to a level position. Tighten the screws (7) .
