Rework the following engines in dealer parts stock and/or dealer
exchange inventory:
250-7100, 281-6501, 314-2485, 360-1646, 365-9318, 365-9319, 365-9320, and 365-9321 Service Replacement C175-16 Engines with a B7B prefix
Replace all adapters on any engines built between B7B00159-B7B00380.
262-1300, 282-2060, 360-1647, 365-9326, 365-9327, 365-9328, and 365-9329 Service Replacement C175-20 Engines with a LLM prefix
Replace all adapters on any engines built between LLM00174-LLM00274.
Refer to the Action Required for the Affected Product for the rework
procedure.
****Affected Product****
Do not use the new 354-1562 Pump Adapter with the old style 3 element 341-8300, 332-4737 Fuel Injection Pump Gp or 4 element 341-8301, 332-4738 Fuel Injection Pump Gp. The pump will fail.
The new 354-1562 Pump Adapter is compatible only with the new 3 element 359-2806 Fuel Injection Pump Gp and the new 4 element 359-3706 Fuel Injection Pump Gp.
1. Replace the fuel pump adapter with a new 354-1562 Pump Adapter in accordance with Disassembly and Assembly, KENR6052, "Fuel and Auxiliary Water Pump Drive - Remove and Install".
Note: Do not reuse the bolts in the 304-9602 Fuel Lines Gp if they are removed.
SERVICE CLAIM ALLOWANCES

Submit one claim for all engines that are reworked while in dealer parts stock and/or dealer exchange inventory.
12 hours labor will be allowed for each engine that is reworked.
Include the engine serial numbers and arrangement numbers in the
service claim.
