C. TPMS System Check-Out (Only performed if TPMS attachment installed)
1. Remove the 4 screws holding the TPMS display into the overhead. Pull the display out of the overhead but do not disconnect it.2. Turn the TPMS operator display "ON". This is the rocker switch which is furthest to the left on the overhead display.3. Turn the operator key-switch "ON". The TPMS display will go through a check-out cycle. When it is done the screen will go blank. Everything is operating correctly as long as the red and green lights are not flashing on the display.4. Set the truck model. There is a button on the rear of the display. Press this until the display shows "1". Then let go of the button. The number displayed is the model of truck. The model should be set as follows:773D: 12h775D: 13hThe model can be toggled while in this mode by using the set switch which is on the front of the TPMS display right next to the LCD display. Toggle this switch until the correct number is shown corresponding to the model of the truck.5. Now set the units to be used. Hit the mode switch on the back of the display module again until you the display shows "2". If the truck is being delivered to a U.S. customer, the display needs to show "1u" for U.S. tons. If the truck is being delivered to a non-U.S. customer, the display needs to show "0u" for Metric tonnes. The display can be toggled between "0u" and "1u" using the set switch which is on the front of the TPMS display right next to the LCD display. Toggle this until the correct number is shown.6. Turn the operator key-switch off.7. Re-install the TPMS module in the overhead compartment.D. Initial Running System Check
1. Turn key-switch on and to "START" position. If this truck has pre-lubrication and the truck has not been started in the last 2-minutes and the truck is cold, then the pre-lubrication pump should kick-in for between 1 and 30 seconds and then the truck will start. You will need to hold the key-switch down for this entire time. If the truck does not have the pre-lubrication attachment, or the pre-lubrication attachment has not been turned on, or the truck has been running in the last 2-minutes, or the truck is warm then the truck will start immediately.2. Re-connect Electronic Technician (ET) as described in IV.A.1.3. If this truck has the VARIABLE SPEED FAN ATTACHMENT, from the ET menu, select "DATA LINK" then select "CHOOSE ECM" then select
