Remove plate (18) and the oil level switch.

Remove seal (19) from the plate.
Remove oil level switch (20) from the plate.

Remove O-ring seal (21) from the oil level switch.Installation Procedure

Install new O-ring seal (21) on the oil level switch.

Install oil level switch (20) in the plate.
Install seal (19) on the plate.

Install plate (18) and the oil level switch in the oil pan.

Install plate (17). Install bolts (16) .

Install seal (15) on drain valve (14) .

Install drain valve (14) in the oil pan.
Thoroughly clean the mating surfaces of the oil pan and the engine block.
Install the gasket on the oil pan.

Note: Make sure that clip (13) for the drain tube is installed in the correct location.
Install oil pan (12) .
Install the washers and bolts (11) .

Connect electrical connector (10) for the engine oil level switch.

Install access panel (8). Install the washers and bolts (9) .

Install access panel (6). Install the washers and bolts (5) .
Install the washers and bolts (7) to the hinge.

Install access panel (3) that is located under the main pump. Install the washers and bolts (1) .
Install access panel (4) that is located under the main pump. Install the washers and bolts (2) .
Install the dipstick.Reference: Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Level Guage (Dipstick) - Remove and Install" in this manual.
Fill the engine with oil to the correct level.Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.Reference: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the refill capacities.
