Install O-ring seal (18) .

Install Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to the differential and bevel gear. The weight of the differential and bevel gear is approximately 385 kg (850 lb).
Position the differential and bevel gear for installation.
Install Tooling (C) . Remove Tooling (B) .
Install 18 of 20 bolts (16) . Remove Tooling (C) .
Install remaining two bolts (16) .

Tighten 20 bolts (16) in an alternating sequence to a torque of 230 40 N m (170 30 lb ft) and then turn each bolt by an additional 120 10 degrees in an alternating sequence.
Connect hose assemblies (15) , (14) , (9) , (8) , (5) and (4) .
