Ejecting
Ejecting the Load with the Machine Moving
Check that the area around the machine is clear of personnel and of any obstructions before you eject the load. If a spotter is present, follow the spotters directions.
Position the machine straight before ejecting the load. Ensure that all wheels are in contact with firm ground.
Move the transmission control to the desired gear. When the desired gear is displayed on the CMS panel, press the transmission hold switch. This will prevent upshifting above the selected gear or downshifting below the selected gear. Drive the machine slowly forward.
Pull the ejector control backward to the EJECT position in order to eject the load. Check that the ejector blade is emptying the body. Hold the ejector control in the EJECT position until the desired load has been discharged. Release the ejector control. The ejector control will return to the HOLD position.
Push the ejector control forward to the RETRACT position in order to return the ejector blade to the stowed position. Release the ejector control. The ejector control will remain in the RETRACT position. Release the transmission hold switch. Drive the machine away from the work area. Ensure that the ejector blade is fully retracted. The machine is now ready to receive another load. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Ejector Control" for more information on the ejector control. Ejecting the Load with the Machine Stopped
