Operate the machine for a few minutes in order to warm the oil.
Park the machine on firm, level ground. Put the transmission control into the NEUTRAL position. Lower the bucket to the ground with a slight downward pressure. Engage the parking brake.

Check the oil level in transmission oil level gauge (2) while the engine is running at low idle. Maintain the oil level within the operating range while the engine is running. Note: The oil level varies significantly when the engine is stopped. The oil level will be considerably higher than the operating range. The oil level should be above the middle of the gauge before the engine is started.
If necessary, remove filler cap (1) and add oil. Clean the filler cap and install the filler cap.
Oil may also be added to the transmission by using the transmission oil fast fill port that is found in the Service Center (if equipped). For more information, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Service Center".
