Slowly loosen the filler plug on top of the hydraulic tank in order to relieve remaining internal pressure of the hydraulic tank.
After remaining pressure is relieved, tighten the filler plug.

Open the access door on the right side of the machine.

The oil filter for the hydraulic hammer is located behind the right side cover of the machine.
Position a suitable container in order to contain the oil. Note: Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "General Hazard Information" for information on containing fluid spillage.

(1) Filter case
(2) Filter element
(3) Drain plug
(4) O-ring
(5) O-ring
Loosen drain plug (3) in order to drain oil from filter case (1).
Loosen the filter case (1).
Lower filter case (1) in order to remove filter element (2).
Remove the used filter element from filter base (1). Note: The element cannot be reused.Note: Used filter elements should always be disposed of according to local regulations.
Clean filter case (1) and install the new filter element.
Inspect O-ring (5) of the filter case (1) for damage. Replace the O-ring when it is necessary.
Assemble filter case (1). Tighten to a torque of 100 10 N m (74 7 lb ft).
Inspect O-ring (4) of the drain plug (3) for damage. Replace the O-ring when it is necessary.
Tighten drain plug (3) to a torque of 60 5 N m (44 3.5 lb ft).
Close the access door.
