Remove Oil Pump (3304 & 3306 Marine Engines)
start by:a) remove oil panb) remove oil pan plate 1. Remove bolt (2) that holds suction bell and tube.2. Remove bolts (1) that hold oil pump to cylinder block.3. Remove oil pump.Install Oil Pump (3304 & 3306 Marine Engines)

start by:a) remove oil pump 1. Remove idler gear (1) from oil pump. 2. Remove bearing from idler gear with tooling (A).3. Remove bolt and washer that hold drive gear to oil pump. 4. Remove the drive gear (2) from shaft with tool (B). Remove key from shaft.5. Remove the bolt and cover for the bypass valve. 6. Remove bypass valve (3) from pump body (5).7. Remove the bolts (4) that hold the two body assemblies together. Remove body assembly (6). 8. Remove two gears (9) and spacer (7) from shafts. Remove key from shaft.9. Remove shaft assemblies (8) from body (10). 10. Remove the bearings from bodies (10) and (11) with tooling (C).Assemble Oil Pump (3304 & 3306 Industrial & Marine Engines
1. Install the bearings in the two bodies with tooling (A).2. Put clean SAE 30 engine oil on bypass valve and shaft assemblies. 3. Install the bypass valve in body (2) and fasten the bypass valve with cover and bolt.4. Install shaft assemblies (3) in body and spacer (1) on shaft assemblies. Install key on shaft. 5. Install gears (5) on shaft assemblies.6. Put body (6) in position on shafts and install the bolts that hold it to the body (4). 7. Install key on shaft.8. Install bearing in idler gear with tooling (B).9. Put drive gear on shaft and install washer and bolt. Tighten bolt to a torque of 32 5 lb.ft. (4.4 0.7 mkg).10. Install idler gear (7) on shaft.end by:a) install oil pump
