1. Loosen bumper nut (6) and adjust bumper (7) until dimension (11) is 270 2 mm (10.63 .08 in). Tighten bumper nut (6) to a torque of 25 7 N m (18 5 lb ft).2. Thread rod end (5) on cable assembly (16) to dimension (9) of 12.0 0.5 mm (.47 .02 in).3. Install brake cable (16) on pedal assembly (1). Assemble bolt (4) to ensure that rod end (5) does not bind.4. Adjust brake cable to dimension (10) of 23.5 1 mm (.93 .04 in).5. Install brake cable (16) through cover (18) and adjust to dimension (17) of 29 1 mm (1.14 .04 in).6. With master cylinder lever (15) in the initial (free) position, adjust rod end (21) to eliminate freeplay in cable assembly (16). Rod end (21) must be threaded on to cable assembly (16) to minimum dimension (20) of 12.0 0.5 mm (.47 .02 in).7. Attach cable assembly (16) and rod end (21) to master cylinder lever (15).Procedure to Adjust Limit Switch
1. Install limit switch (3) to limit switch bracket (2).2. Install limit switch bracket (2) to brake pedal (1) support assembly. Adjust limit switch (3) engagement to 3.00 0.50 mm (.118 .020 in).
