Information:
Flow meter (3) is a turbine meter that measures flow stream volume between the water spray pump and the spray bar. The meter includes the body, two bearing supports, the turbine, and the magnetic pickup (14). The blades break the magnetic force that is generated by the pickup as the turbine rotates. The master pickup is screwed into the master body. The pickup sends the signal to the flow readout box. The signal is then displayed on the flow readout box. The operator can monitor the rate of application and total usage.

There are 16 spray bar nozzles (23) that are attached to spray bar (7). When the ON/OFF valve is opened, the flow from the water pump is directed out of spray bar nozzles (23). The flow is then directed into mixing chamber (25). There are no individual nozzle valves as there are in the asphalt system.Spray bar (7) is attached to the mixing chamber (25) by brackets (24). Brackets (24) have vertical slots. When the water spray system is not active, spray bar (7) can be raised out of mixing chamber (25). A shield covers the holes in mixing chamber (25).
