Thickness of four new friction discs and three new parking brake plates for the brake is 22.90 0.87 mm (0.902 0.034 inch).

4.00 0.12 mm (0.157 0.005 inch).    
3 3W-5159 Parking Brake Plate     Thickness of one new parking brake plate is
2.30 0.13 mm (0.091 0.005 inch).    
2     2     5F-0585 Bearing Cone     The bearing cone may be frozen in order to aid installation.
Heat the bearing cone to
120°C (248°F) for a maximum of eight hours.
After the assembly has cooled, position and install the bearing cone squarely against the locating shoulder.

3. Seat bearings against plate (C) . Gradually apply an axial load of
120000 10000 N (27000 2250 lb).
4. Tighten three equally spaced bolts (8) with an axial load against plate (C) to
95 10 N m (70 7 lb ft).
5. Remove the axial load from plate (C) .
6. Tighten all bolts (8) to
120 20 N m (88 15 lb ft).    
9     1     2H-6489 Bearing Outer Race     Before installation, lubricate with SAE 30 oil.
The bearing may be frozen in order to aid installation.
Heat the bearing to
120 °C (248 °F) for a maximum of eight hours.
After the assembly has cooled, position and install the bearing squarely against the locating shoulder.
