Rotate (10) screws counterclockwise in order to remove access panel (9) .

Connect the communication adapter to the service tool connector (11) .
Remove the access panel in the floor of the cab.

Location of the pump's (1) and (2) X1 and X2 port's.
Install one end of Tooling (D) to port (X1) on the first pump and connect the other end of Tooling (D) to port (X2) on the first pump.

Open the access door on the left side of the machine.
Connect Tooling (C) or Tooling (B) to the pressure tap for the pump that is being adjusted.Note: Use the 68900 kPa (10000 psi) pressure sensor if you use tooling (B) .

Connect Tooling (C) or Tooling (B) to pressure tap (3) if you are adjusting the front pump.
Connect Tooling (C) or Tooling (B) to pressure tap (4) if you are adjusting the rear pump.
Start the engine. Warm the oil to a minimum temperature of 20 °C (68 °F).
Use Cat ET to lock the parking brake. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Transmission Stall - Set".Note: You are not required to perform the transmission stall test.

Mark the initial position of set screw (5) .
Loosen locknut (6) on set screw (5) .
Turn the set screw clockwise until the drive loop pressure increases by 200 kPa (30 psi). Mark this position.
Turn the set screw back to the original position.
Turn the set screw counterclockwise until the drive loop pressure increases by 200 kPa (30 psi). Mark this position.
Position the set screw at the midpoint between the two positions that were marked in Step 23 and Step 25.
Maintain the position of set screw (5) while you tighten locknut (6) .
Stop the engine.
Remove Tooling (D) from the two ports.
Remove Tooling (C) or Tooling (B) from the pressure tap.
Repeat the above procedure for the second pump.Hydraulic Adjustment
Install Tooling (F) into ports (X1) and (X2) for the pump that is being adjusted.
Connect Tooling (A) or Tooling (B) to Tooling (F) .Note: Use the 41368 kPa (6000 psi) pressure sensor if you use tooling (B) .
Start the engine. Warm the oil to a minimum temperature of 20 °C (68 °F).
Use Cat ET to lock the parking brake. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Transmission Stall - Set".Note: You are not required to perform the transmission stall test.

Loosen lock screw (7) for set screw (8) .
Adjust the set screw until the pressure at port (X1) is within 200 kPa (30 psi) of the pressure of port (X2) .
Maintain the position of the set screw while you tighten the lock screw.Note: This adjustment is sensitive and the adjustment can easily change as you tighten the lock screw.
