(2) Blade control lever (3) Ripper control lever (18) Thumb lever (blade angle) (19) Implement lockout switchBlade control lever (2) is located on the right console of the operator station.Blade control lever (2) controls the movement of the blade. Moving the lever forward will lower the blade. Moving the lever backward will raise the blade. Moving the lever left and right tilts the blade. Thumb lever (18) controls blade angle.Ripper control lever (3) is located to the rear of the blade control lever on the right console of the operator station.Ripper control lever (3) controls the movement of the ripper (if equipped).Implement lockout switch (19) is located on the panel above the right console of the operator station.Implement lockout switch (19) de-energizes the implement lockout solenoid on the pilot pressure reducing valve in order to block pilot oil. When pilot oil is not available, the implements are disabled.Implement Control Valves

(7) Main relief valve (20) End cover (21) Ripper control valve (22) Blade tilt control valve (23) Blade lift control valve (24) Inlet manifoldThe implement valve stack is mounted under the right side of the operator platform.Movement of the blade and of the ripper is controlled by valves that regulate the flow of oil to the hydraulic cylinders. The implement valve stack contains all of the individual control valves. The basic hydraulic system contains two control valves: blade lift control valve (23) and blade tilt control valve (22) . If the machine is equipped with a ripper, there is an additional control valve (21) . If the machine is equipped with a variable power angle tilt blade (VPAT), there is an additional control valve (not pictured). Hydraulic oil from the implement pump enters the control valve stack through inlet manifold (24) .Main Relief Valve
Main relief valve (7) prevents pressure spikes in the hydraulic system. Pressure spikes may damage the components of the hydraulic system. Also, main relief valve (7) limits the maximum pressure that is allowed in the implement hydraulic system.Main relief valve (7) is located in inlet manifold (24) .Pressure Reducing Valve

(5) Pressure reducing valve (6) Accumulator (25) Solenoid for the shutoff valve (26) ManifoldHydraulic implement pump oil must pass through manifold (26) before reaching the control valves for the implements. The manifold includes pressure reducing valve (5) , a screen, a relief valve, a check valve, an accumulator (6) and solenoid operated shutoff valve (25) . Pressure reducing valve (5) , reduces the implement pump oil pressure to pilot oil pressure. The reduced pressure is sent to accumulator (6) and the check valve. The accumulator and the check valve are used to maintain supply pressure during momentary drops in system pressure. The accumulator also maintains pressure for a short time after the engine is shut off.Solenoid operated shutoff valve (25) is located in the manifold. When the implement
