Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the torque converter outlet relief valve.

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove bolts (1), washers (2), cover (3), and O-ring seal (4) from valve body (5) .
Remove dust cap (6), fitting (7), and O-ring seal (8) from valve body (5) .
Remove bolts (13), washers (14), cover (15), O-ring seal (16), stop (17), inner spring (12), outer spring (11), spacers (10), and spool (9) from valve body (5) .
