Illustration 1. Location of new parts.The former 9T2444 and 9T2449 Cylinder Rod Assemblies and 9T2369 Piston can be modified so a 6V8133 Bolt and 6V8237 Washer can be used to hold the piston to the rod. Use the method that follows to modify the rod assembly and piston.
1. Modify the piston end of the rod assembly using the dimensions given in Illustration 2.

Illustration 3. Modification of cylinder piston.3. Install the piston on the rod using 6V8133 Bolt and 6V8237 Washer. Tighten the bolt to 1000 100 N m (740 75 lb ft).
