Remove the Torque Divider.

Remove two bolts (1).

Install Tooling (A) and remove remaining bolts (1).

Slide flywheel (2) on Tooling (A). Attach a suitable lifting device to flywheel (2). The weight of flywheel (2) is approximately 105 kg (231 lb). Once flywheel (2) is supported by the suitable lifting device, remove Tooling (A) and remove flywheel (2).

Remove bolts (3) from flywheel spline (4) and flywheel (2).

Use Tooling (B) to remove flywheel spline (4).Installation Procedure

If necessary, lower the temperature of flywheel spline (4) to a temperature of −32° C (−25.6° F) for at least 30 minutes.
Install flywheel spline (4) into flywheel (2).
Apply Tooling (C) to bolts (3). Install bolts (3) and tighten to a torque of 105 N m (77 lb ft) in the star pattern shown in Illustration 7.

Install Tooling (A). Attach a suitable lifting device to flywheel (2). The weight of flywheel (2) is approximately 105 kg (231 lb). Slide flywheel (2) onto Tooling (A). Once flywheel (2) is supported by Tooling (A), remove the lifting device.

Apply Tooling (D) to the threads of bolts (1). Install bolts (1). Remove Tooling (A) and install remaining bolts (1).End By:
Install the Torque Divider.
