Remove the piston motor.

Remove bolts (1) and end cap (2) .

Remove valve plate (3), gasket (4), needle bearing (5), and pin (6) from the end cap.

Position housing (7) on the side and remove cylinder block assembly (8) .

Use the following procedure in order to disassemble cylinder block assembly (8) .
Remove pistons (9) and slipper retainer (10) from cylinder block (11) .

Remove guide (14), thrust washer (15), pins (12), and retainer (13) from cylinder block (11) .

Possible injury can result when removing the retaining ring and spring.Spring force will be released when the retaining ring is removed.Be prepared to hold the cylinder assembly as the retaining ring is removed.
Position cylinder block (11) in a suitable press. Install a suitable drive plate of the same size as washer (16). Put slight compression on washer (16) with the press. Remove retaining ring (17) and slowly release the spring compression.
Remove washer (16), spring (19), and washer (18) from cylinder block (11) .

Remove swashplate (20) from housing (7) and the shaft.

Remove retaining ring (25). Remove washer (26) and lip seal (27) from housing (7). Remove retaining ring (28) .
Remove shaft (21) from housing (7) .
Remove retaining ring (24) from shaft (21) .
Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press in order to remove ball bearing (23) from shaft (21). Remove retaining ring (22) from shaft (21) .
