Left Side of Machine
(1) Chain case
(2) Cover plates The rotor drive is located on the right and the left side of the machine. Chain case (1) protects the rotor drive components.The chain case has three access ports. Cover plates (2) over these ports can be removed in order to inspect the rotor drive components.

(6) Rotor sprocket Drive sprocket (3) that is driven by the planetary gear reducer is located inside chain case (1). The drive sprocket drives chain (4), which drives rotor sprocket (6). The rotor sprocket is connected to the rotor mandrel. This action drives the rotor.Lubrication nozzles (5) are located near rotor sprocket (6). Lubrication is supplied from the rotor bearing tank.

(9) Rotor bearing tank Rotor bearing tank (9) is located behind the machine cab. This component is mounted to the front side of the hydraulic tank. The rotor bearing tank is located within easy view of the operator to encourage frequent monitoring.The rotor bearing tank contains two compartments. The compartments share common fill port (7). Breather (8) is located on top of the tank.Rotor bearing tank (9) is made of translucent plastic. The shared volume between the two compartments indicates the level of oil in the tank. The oil level should be higher than the divider. The rotor bearings are lubricated with 30W drive train and hydraulic oil.
