Illustration 108(1) Remove plug (1) from Front Idler Assembly and apply air pressure to this port. Front Idler Assembly should sustain 255 10 kPa (37 1.5 psi) air pressure for a minimum of 30 seconds. Add 0.18 0.02 L (0.048 0.005 US gal) of SAE 30-D oil and replace plug(1).(2) At assembly, O-rings of floating seal (2) and all surfaces in contact with the floating seal must be clean and dry. Apply a small amount of oil on the contacting surfaces of the metal seals before installation.(3) Apply a small amount of oil on seal.(4) Install the pin. The correct position of the pin is shown in View A-A.(5) Install the shaft (5).
