Prevent the machine from movement. Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all harness assemblies, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

Install connector assembly (9) and elbow assembly (7) in valve (4) as shown. Install nipple assembly (8) with dust cap (1) in valve (4) as shown.
Position valve (4) to support assembly (5). Secure valve (4) to support assembly (5) using bolts (11) and washers (10) .

Install support assembly (5) with valve (4) to the left side frame rail as shown using spacers (2), bolts (13), and washers (12) .
Connect hose assembly (6) to connector assembly (9). Connect hose assembly (3) to elbow assembly (7). Route hose assemblies (6) and (3) towards the boom.
Tighten all hardware and fittings to proper torque unless otherwise specified. Refer to Specifications, SENR3130, "Torque Specifications".
