Information:

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Operate the machine for a few minutes to circulate the oil.
Park the machine on level ground. Lower the attachment and apply slight downward pressure. Engage the parking brake. Stop the machine.
Remove the dipstick/fill plug for the front differential. Note: The 924K and 930K use a dipstick. The 938K uses a fill plug.
For the 924K and the 930K, maintain the oil between the "ADD" mark and the "FULL" mark on the dipstick of the differential. For the 938K, maintain the oil level with the threads of the fill plug port of each differential.
Install the dipstick/fill plug.
Repeat steps 3 through 5 for the rear differential.
