ELBOW 1713891 - Caterpillar

Connect the angled end of hose assembly (20) to port "B2" of valve (16). Connect the straight end to port "PN1" of the main pump. Install blue bands on both ends of the hose. Refer to Illustrations 20 to 22.Note: The existing hose will be removed.
Connect the straight end of hose assembly (21) to port "A2" on valve (16). Connect the other end of the hose to port "PN2" of the main pump. Install green bands to each end of the hose.Note: The existing hose will be removed.
Connect the angled end of hose assembly (10) to port "T" on valve (16).
Install fitting (28) into the pumps intake tube at port (T). Refer to illustration 21.
Attach the other end of hose assembly (10) to fitting (28) .

Attach hose assembly (1) from valve block (A) to port "P" on valve (16). Refer to illustration 23.
Attach hose assembly (22) to port "B1" on the valve. Attach a blue band to each end of the hose.
Attach hose assembly (23) to port "A1" on the valve. Attach a green band to each end of the hose.

Connections to the main control valve
Install fitting (28) into port "PU2" of the "F2" valve. Attach hose assembly (17). This hose has an orange band. Refer to illustration 24.
Install fitting (28) into port "aR2" of the attachment valve. Attach hose assembly (13). This hose has a brown band.
Install fitting (28) into port "HL". Attach hose assembly (23). This hose has a green band.Note: The existing hose will be removed.
Install hose assembly (22) into port "HR". This hose has a blue band.Note: The existing hose will be removed.

Install fitting (28) into port "PL2" of the "F2" valve. Attach hose assembly (2). This hose has a yellow band. Refer to illustration 25.
Install fitting (28) into port "bR2" of the attachment valve. Attach hose assembly (14). This hose has a red band.

Install fitting (29) into port "DR2" at the hydraulic tank. Refer to Illustrations 26 and 27.
Install hose assembly (25) between tank port "DR2" and port "D" on the check valve group. Note: The check valve group will be installed with the boom lines kit.
Secure all hoses with cable straps (9) .
Tighten all hardware to the proper torque.
Check all connections for leaks.
Purge the air from the hydraulic lines. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Air Purge" for more information.
After the electrical system and the hydraulic system are connected, check for proper operation. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Operation" for more information.Pilot Hose Connections
