(K) Diameter over bark at delimbing knives.Fed length (A) displays the length of the tree that has been fed through the harvester head. Fed length (A) is measured in centimeters. The value is continuously updated as the tree is fed through the harvester head. The fed length resets to zero after the saw cuts a log.Cutting zone indicator (B) shows a black square when the log is at the cutting zone.Diameter at the saw bar (C) is displayed in millimeters. This value is continuously updated as the tree is fed through the harvester head. This value is measured at the delimbing knives. However, this value is delayed so that you can view the value that is at the saw bar. This value can be adjusted in the "Prog Variables" screen.Ramp indication (D) tells the operator if the ramp function is ON. When the function is on, the feed rollers advance the tree past the cutting zone. The tree is then fed back to the cutting zone. The distances of the ramp function can be set in the programming mode.The color that will be painted on the end of the log is shown by indication (E). When "F1" is displayed, color 1 will be painted. When "F2" is displayed, color 2 will be painted. When "F3" is displayed, color 1 and color 2 will be painted.When a "S/" is displayed at location (F), manual sawing is turned on. Manual sawing is active when the ignition is turned on. The operator can then select "Touch Cutting" or "Manual Cutting" by pressing the "SHIFT" button and "CUT" button.The species of tree (G) must be selected before a tree is processed. If the "Machine Variables" are set for repeating of species, the computer will stay on the last species that was selected. The tree will be cut to this length.
