Do not use jack stands for the removal of the front tires and rims. Use only oak cribbing or other suitable HARDWOOD. The weigh of the front of the machine is approximately 20,410 kg (45,000 lb). Improper cribbing may result in personal injury.
2. Fasten a lifting device to front tire fender (2) and remove nuts (1). 3. Remove front tire fender (2). The weight of the fender is 75 kg (165 lb). 4. Use 50 ton jacks to raise the machine and install cribbing as shown. 5. Fasten cables and a lifting device to the tires and rim as shown. Remove the nuts that hold the tires and rims (3). Remove tires and rims (3). The weight of the tire and rim is 3285 kg (7300 lb). The following steps are to install tires and rims.6. Use a lifting device and cables to put tire and rims (3) in position. Install and tighten the nuts that hold the tires and rims to a torque of 1125 110 N m (825 80 lb ft).7. Use 50 ton jacks to raise the machine and remove the cribbing. Lower the machine and remove the jacks.8.
